International festival of theater photography "Interlude" have been opened!!!
The idea of the exhibition is research and visualization of theatrical action and a variety of stage images on the stages of theaters around the world.
To create an interesting three-dimensional stage space and atmosphere curators used the sculptures by the famous sculptor Viktor Prodanchuk.
The exhibition presents photographs of both street performances and academic stages, puppet theaters, theaters for children and experimental studios - this visual part of the festival will become a portal for new impressions, emotions, a source of inspiration for spectators, actors and project participants.
Photographs of photographers from 14 countries of the world, as well as Ukrainian photographers from Lviv, Dnipro, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Rivne and Kropyvnytskyi take part in the exhibition. Visitors of the festival will have the opportunity to see bright and unique shots of theater performances from Mexico, USA, Finland, Poland, Iran, Scotland, Philippines, Brazil, Czech Republic, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Curators of the exhibition and organizers of the international festival "Intermedia" - Sashko Balabai and Darina Balabai - Lviv film directors, photographers and artists.
During the festival take place art meetings, workshops of photography, excursions and other events.
The exhibition at the Gallery of Scenography will last until September 17.
This project was implemented with the support of the Lviv City Council and the Department of Culture, Nationalities and Religions of LODA.
